And last one today, reprints ASM #60 with different cover (Note: this one has Gwen on it, instead of the issue I just posted)

The Greek Crow series by Metal Comics is pretty darn cool. Probably the toughest foreign editions of this series we know of to date. According to some research we think 12 foreign printings were done. So far we know of the Greek, French, Italian and Spanish for sure. We are searching furiously for a Japanese and despite what we think might be a Manga version we found... haven't had any luck finding it. With the Japanese obsession with honor and revenge, along with cult movie status the idea is a Japanese edition would be very possible. But alas no luck as of yet.... anyways enjoy the pics! I love talking to James when I see him at shows and hope to take this book to show him somewheres soon... I bet he would get a kick out of it.....

I think I am going to be building a foreign set of #1. :cloud9:

Thanks, Matt. I found these editions in short boxes that were not displayed at the store. Instead they were old or extra stock that was basically on the floor, under shelves and displays. It looked like no one had even looked at thoses boxes for years.

For the record here is old slab from cgc having the Mexican issue labeled as "edition". I understand there can be some inconsistency but it is acknowledged by virtue of being on the label that it was very natural and honest among collectors of this niche and professionals to use this term. it also happens that in mexico companies like Novedades did reprints of silver age material in 1980s which ironically are in high demand in Latin countries. using the term edition along with country and publisher help prevent confusion. For many of us the issues can be printed with variations that make them each valuable and sought after much like people who enjoy collecting modern USA variants. The longer I am in this hobby and research and learn the foreign niche the stronger my convictions to the professionalism that companies like cbcs bring to the support of the collecting community and history of the comic genre.

Finally found the Mexican edition of DC Comics Presents 26. Sadly, the Teen Titans story was not included.

None that I've seen but I'd guess the greatest possibilities would be Germany, Italy Spain & Mexico.

I'm back from my vacation to Ireland. My last three pick-ups were 2 new off the shelf DC/Titan Comics (DC Comics Showcase Harley Quinn #1 and DC Legends Suicide Squad #1) and one Pannini Comic (Essential X-Men #98) from 2003.
It was very difficult to find even new comics outside of Dublin. Most news stands and markets do not carry them, and the few that did put stickers on them raising the price by a couple of Euro.
It was even harder to find used/back issues at used book stores, antiques shops, and second-hand stores. Maybe I just went to the wrong towns and/or shops.
