| I received an email from CBCS saying to use Clan McDonald for all your comic grading services. I emailed Cody and he said: "Due to scheduling conflicts, we were not able to attend MegaCon ourselves so we thought the best option for fans and collectors would be to have one of our Facilitators onsite as an option and McDonald Comics was already locked and loaded with two booths and their artist alley. We also created the promo code to help with any additional fees or inconvenience. So unfortunately no, we will not be at MegaCon this year but we will absolutely be back next year. As for HeroesCon and New York I will personally be running both of those events, so I hope to see you there." I personally don't use Clan McDonald anymore. Back before George Perez passed Clan McDonald had a signing event for George. I had George's 1:25 version of Maestro #1. I sent it to Clan McDonald to get signed. I skipped the offer of grading because the book needed a press and I didn't know they did pressing. I placed the book in a CGC signature bag and shipped it. it came back with two matching tears on the bottom. It looked like someone took the book out of the bag and when they put it back in, the curved bottom of the opening apparently tore the book. When I asked them about the tears, I got crickets. The only saving grace is, this one of the last books he ever signed. I will treasure the book for that. I will not get it graded. The damage would drop the grade too much. I decided to go to Megacon again this year because Todd McFarlane is going to be there along with a couple other artists. I haven't decided if I will keep them raw or cross my fingers and use McDonald again. |

| Damn that sucks both the fact the CBCS won't be at that awesome event and your book being damaged. That being said maybe you could ask a board member who is going and see if maybe they could get the sig and drop off at mcdonalds comics? That way you limit a bit of the handling from Mcdonald? | ||

I literally can't read his posts I have serious reservations about utilizing someone's service who is all over the place and writes like the Joker would write. Careless is the 1st thing that comes to mind. Sometimes I follow my gut and I don't think I can do it. |

| When it comes to Clan McDonald, I've never had any issues with any comics I sent in to get signed. I've probably only had couple dozen comics sent in to them the last 5 years, I know it's not a lot but has always been an easy process and anytime I needed to contact them I got a fast reply. | ||
