This one has some checkmarks on the cover...a hallmark of the collection.

*****NOT MY BOOKS*****

Just thought these two images side by side of arguably the two books that are the very definition of 'Classic Cover' belong in this Thread for posterity.

And they are both EDGAR CHURCH/MILE HIGH copies. The SC3 sold through Heritage years ago, and the FC3 sold through Comic connect. Cool that one is in a CBCS slab and the other in a CGC one. I think both books would beat their hammer prices if sold again today.

@Sagii Historic books. Most likely would never exist in this condition without Edgar...to whom we owe a debt of gratitude. I know that Fantastic #3 is the highest graded by a ...mile...

@the420bandito indeed! The man and his storied collection (hoard?)deserves its mythic status in our hobby.

I'm a Fantastic 3 man over Suspemse 3 man myself, but wouldn't kick either out of bed 😃

A tiny Savannah run. This collection totaled 40,000 books which I believe is only topped by Circle 8 (100,000 comics) in terms of size.

Savannah's don't have the best page quality yet I strangely have a early 70s Savannah that's white pages

I really dig the Savannah collection. It's very heavy on DC. I remember bidding hard as possible on this book and getting blown away. I owned a few white page Savannah comics that were mid-60's.

This is my first purchase of a pedigree with the gold label from the cgc. I have to say that I am not a fan of the gold label. It makes it more difficult for me to read. I like it better than the custom labels, but I'm no fan of those either.

Now, if I could get my car painted that color...

These have always been my favorite pedigree labels. I don't know why they changed.

Picked up this in the Heritage auction. Got blown out on about 20 other pulps I was bidding on.
