Can signed comics be pressed safely?20000

I’ve got a few older signed comics that I would like to get graded, but would benefit from a press. They were signed back in 2019, so the ink is definitely dry. Is it safe? Or a waste of my money? Looking for some opinions or someone who has actually done it.

It's safe, the only possible issue I've ever heard of is paint pens bit they can be pressed, just have to be more careful with how its done and what temp.

I've pressed sharpie and marker pens etc with 0 issues.

Agreed. No problem with sharpie or pen ink on most standard covers.
The only issues could be the paint pens mentioned above or smudging if the signed cover was glossy/acetate/foil, etc.

Paint pen writing has depth. It’s not just 2D it’s 3D. Said signature will press into the book.
