@Studley_Dudley SuperPro is a cool run. Not good, but cool. It's not the easiest to put together, either.

Longshot, including my first double cover discovered in the wild at a small comic shop.

I was just starting my modest return to the hobby since my teen years and had yet to discover price guides or any publications supporting it, so I had never heard of double covers. When I got home and saw it, I wasn't sure if it was intentional or not.

Over the years I would discover four more (ASM 148, Strange Tales 180, GS Super Stars 1, Kamandi 2), which kinda blows my mind when I read about collectors with bigger collections never finding any. I have a few that were disclosed as having double covers when I purchased them, but to be honest they just don't have the same je ne sais quoi as the ones that surprised me.

@Siggy Is the double cover simply a printer error?

@Siggy always to cool to see the double covers. I've only found two in all my years of scrounging through back issues bins (Marvel Comics Presents #7 and Marvel Team Up #71). Yours are cooler.

They're just covers that were "stuck" together (the way new, glossy paper often is) when the books are assembled.

I dream of finding two or more extra covers.

5 years in i have yet to find any. Some day. I’m a magnet for 90s newsstands though; they always find me.
