Welcome to the 2022 CBCS Forum Holiday Gift Exchange!

The rules are simple and pretty much the same as previous years

If you want to sign up, post your gift preferences here (consider giving several options) and PM them to me, along with your name and current address. After the sign-up period is over I'll send you a forum member's name, address, and gift preferences. You purchase and mail that person a gift, suggested value between $20 and $30. It can be one larger item, or several smaller ones. Going above is allowed but should never be expected. PM me that you have done so. Then you wait for your own gift to arrive in the mail and let me know once it has been received.

Also, PLEASE, share what you got when you get it!!!

Sign up period ends 11:59pm Pacific Time on Sunday, November 13th. I'll match you guys up and send out names in the days afterward and then you're off!

If you are outside of the US you are also welcome to participate and I will try to match you up to people in the same country.

Children, Spouses, Partners, Pets, etc of forum members are welcome to participate

Any questions, post them here or PM me

(I STOLE MOST OF THE ABOVE FROM WHAT DIELINFINITE POSTED LAST YEAR.)

If enough people want to, the sign up deadline could be extended a week to the 20th.

Yep!!! Having something shipped right to your person is perfectly fine!!! Just make sure you get a tracking number, which is pretty common on anything any more.

ok count me.

will ask ebay seller (if I get it there), to include stuff like a note, address its from me, etc maybe even wrap if possible

$20-$30 gift works for me. thats my budget with mostly any gift whether family, a game we play or online secret santa.

Im done with the majority of my shopping, save for extra stuff (ornaments, for a game we play, etc) so can buy something for the person I get.

Im not picky. if the person can get me a graded comic thats within budget with grade not important. ill be happy with anything good or worth wild.

normally every year do something with a movie lovers forum thats simular to this. but due to circumstances (i wont get into what. long story) probably wont be doing it this year. so my budget (recommended same as this) for that will be towards this

My preferences are always evolving. I like Venom and Steranko. I enjoy Image titles that maybe don’t get a lot of attention, war comics, and the occasional nice girl cover.
lately I have started collecting international editions of stuff centered around venom and Steranko, go figure!

Ill be ready for whatever they want. usually buy stuff with gift cards I earn so making sure I have around $30 before the 13th to do it right away. Ill order the best I can, ask seller on ebay to write a note to the person and maybe gift wrap.

did mention 2 specific graded titles in a dm thats around budget. grades arent great but are display purposes. nice to have so condition not important. but would like something graded if possible. there is a 5 issue mini series set I want (Godzilla vs Power rangers). but might just get the tpb

preferences I like:
x-men
spiderman
star wars (even if not graded, a decent condition any of the original series comics or 1st dr. aphra would be great)
power rangers (though have all the modern issues already)
if not graded, something worth getting so.

I am in and so is Grimlock, like always, we will take two peoples names

For me its Zatanna, new gods, white queen, or marvel enchantress

For Grimlock , as always its comics that can be any condition, because I read them to him. I try to get comics like Tom and jerry, Felix the cat, etc that have a tuxedo cat like he is, to read for him. Condition isnt a factor, as long as the story is there to read.

I like something good to read. TPBs are fine.

I'll never say no to X-Men although I already have bunches of it. I've started a small pile of Amazing Spider-Man so it would be easy to find things I don't have. I'm pretty easy.

I love doing this. Not to toot my horn, but I’m a giver. I also have severe irrational anxiety that what I picked is adequate and my recipient is truly happy with what I picked😂

I collect magazines and Fanzines from the '60s and '70s. Specifically ones with Frazetta or Wrightson artwork.

I also collect '70s magazines with Star Wars covers.

I'm pretty much excited by anything Frazetta, Wrightson, or Star Wars.
