Got a couple of metal cover books which have some non-cover-ink-breaking imperfections on the paper back cover. Can metal books be pressed - i.e. the back cover?

I don't see why not. I'd maybe worry a bit about the glue that holds on the metal cover, and for this reason it might be best to use a press that has heat on only one side, e.g. a t-shirt press. But even with a dual sided press I would think that as long as you don't over-cook it it should be fine. If I had a few books like this I'd definitely give it a try on one.

I would %100 trust Steve’s pressing team on this. They are top notch and if they can press those Valiant Chromium covers without melting them then I’d say your safe. Your books won’t be pancaked, they’ll be at the spa
