One of my books that came back I feel wasn't pressed despite paying for it as well. When I showed it to some CBCS booth staff they also felt it didn't appear it was pressed either based on an issue on the back cover that looks to be something that could easily be pressed out. Seeing that it and nearly sixty other books are back down in Dallas currently all having to be re-holdered because of defective cases, it would be nice if I could get the book in question pressed and re-graded since it is a pretty big book for me.

If the book is in our office I'll have a look at it. Message me the invoice number.

Beckett, as a whole, is moving to a huge new building. Pressing is the first department moving. The rest are following in the coming weeks.

Not sure which arrives first at this point.... my books at CBCS or my tax refund from the IRS.
πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

I heard about the move. It sounds like Dallas County's Big Cheese hounded them out to a more business-friendly environment in Colin County. Just just my impression though.

Awesome. Hopefully you have plenty of room, and plenty of new equipment to achieve your goals for the pressing.

We moved because we were completely out of room in the old building. The only way for us to go faster is to expand and hire.

If anyone wants to work in the comic (or card) certification industry, send me a PM and I'll get you in touch with our team.

Night and day. This move will not be difficult. Relocating to another state was rough.

I hated to see you all go...
I use to drive over from Orlando to drop off and pick up.
It was nice.
A bit of a drive from Orlando to Dallas though lol...
Glad we have couriers...

In the unexpected good news column, just got an email that an order was completed. I had fast pass coupons so I sent a regular-speed pressing order with fast pass grading, just moderns. Received toward the end of July. Since Steve said they finished pressing July not all that long ago I thought I would still have a ways to go on grading. I guess the fast pass counted for something. We'll see how long it takes to actually get to FedEx.

I want to ask where my order might be since I submitted it last August at a con, but given they redid my invoice in November with a new number it is probably best to just continue ignoring I ever did.

@etapi65 thanks for the help. i clicked to view the invoice but it doesn't show me anything new. Just the comics submitted and grade screen, etc.

EDIT: NVM, I see what you mean. It says "grading" on the right hand side. Not sure how like it has switched to grading since I never got an email about my order entering another stage. Thanks for the help

I can't quite make out what you're asking. It's graded and ready for encapsulation? That means you still need to get through labels and heat seal. 7- 20 weeks seems to be the range.

turns out it was pressed just accidentally went the express path - hence the quicker than expected return date!

I sent a couple books out in August 2021, with a couple needing pressed. It got officially received in October 2021. I read in another post that they are working on last September's orders now. Would anyone have a guess when they would be getting to my order?
