FYI, this morning, I received "now in grading" notifications on two of my submissions that were delivered to CBCS on 6/8/21. As many of you know, I never use Fast Press nor Fast Pass. So these two modern submissions, appear to be about 30 weeks ahead of the estimated TAT, however, keep in mind that I have 7 other 30 comic, a 101 comic, and a 60 comic submission that were delivered that same week. So, there is some updated guidance for you all. | ||

Can anyone provide an update on 21-225CA0E? I've emailed customer service a couple of times as well as called and left information for a return call but zilch. Basically, I'm hoping that orders submitted for pressing back at the end of June last year have moved on to the grading/slabbing side. 6 modern with one quickstream. I know the quickstream was slowed down because of the moderns. I'll know better for next time. | ||

Appreciate the info/update @Scifinator I'm still waiting on a late April 2021 order ( no extras) as well a September 2021 order ( Fast Press / Fast Grade). So this give me a little hope. |

@Hooligan6ix - Have you had any update on you April submission being out of pressing yet? I would think you should be in the Labels to Shipping zone of Grading at this point. | ||

@Scifinator @Hooligan6ix my April order has been in the grading room since mid-January (according to the email I got) and labels since pretty shortly after that (according to my memory of checking on the invoice). I'm about two weeks away from the anniversary of mailing them in. | ||

@Hooligan6ix @2021NAI @xkonk @Bobashek and others - One more set of notes, the 4th just moved from Pressing to Grading, and all 4 were in the same box and the 11 submissions were sent in 2 separate boxes if I recall correctly. | ||

@Scifinator I have not gotten an update on the April order. It's late April so I assumed it go pushed to May due to the rush. Nothing owed on the invoice last I checked, but will do so again. I've already emailed customer service so I assume someone will get back to me. @xkonk I believe the anniversary on my order is 4/25. It usually takes 3-5 days to get to CBCS. |

I have a bunch of books in the pressing queue, most with press screen to eliminate unnecessary time and expense. I will also continue to submit them slowly as time and budget allow despite the extraordinary turn times, mostly because I believe the two Steve's when they say it will get better. It's great when your hobby explodes, but it does come with some extraordinary growing pains. | ||

Customer Service just sent me an email stating my April 2021 order (No extras) and September 2021 order(Fast pass/Fast pass) are ,back, in pressing. Not sure how accurate this information is, so I'll try and give them a call today. Would also like to know what the new Tier's TAT guarantee will do to our previous fast pass orders. If they jump our 2021 orders, what was the point of us paying the extra? Half of what time? If I get any new information I'll update here |

I can forgive a multitude of things. I can forgive being overwhelmed and having to hire and train Graders, which takes time. I can forgive being overwhelmed and having to hire and train Pressors, which takes time. What I cannot forgive, as a paying customer, in any business not just this one, is horrible customer service. Surely hiring someone to answer the phone or respond to emails would not require Indepth, technical training. This is very disappointing. My books have been marked as in processing since June of last year. I hand carried them in. The only way I knew they were in pressing was because Steve Ricketts responded to an inquiry but that was months ago and even that is not happening anymore. I have sent emails to Customer Service and anyone whose emails are listed on this site. I have called Customer Service and let messages. I have called anyone whose phone number is listed on the site to no avail. I have it set up so that I will go to CBCS to pick them up when they are done because my original intent was to drop off more at that time. I am seriously re-thinking this. As a collector, I want my books encapsulated but I might have to wait for all of this to get sorted. Right now, CBCS has not earned my return business. |
