I have books that were delivered in early April that are still sitting in limbo. I will NEVER not fast pass anything I send to CBCS again. It’s mind boggling considering that I sent two order in at the same time and one was for the Al Ewing signature offering and I go those books back in the middle of July. It’s about to be September! CBCS what have you done with my books!!!

@dielinfinite I do appreciate your efforts in updating us though. Please don’t take my rant poorly. You are graciously providing your own experiences with the TAT which is helpfully to all. The topic has just awoken a major gripe with me that I am obviously salty about. Come on CBCS! Do you really need more than four months to grade a book?

Received April 12th, showed up on dashboard two weeks later.

In labels August 26th.

This is fast press with standard grading tat.

I’m thinking based on what I’ve seen from others maybe I’ll get them in October?

My various orders are

late Jan, pressing and grading, has been in labels for about a month.
late Feb, pressing and grading, invoice says 'submitted'.
late Mar, fast press and fast pass, received them I think mid July.
late Apr, pressing and grading, checked in mid May, invoice says 'billing'.
late May, rapid pressing and grading, got them back in I want to say June.
mid July, pressing and fast pass, invoice says 'billing'.
mid Aug, 2-Day modern and pressing, invoice says 'billing'.

I'm kind of surprised that my January order isn't back yet since it was graded over a month ago, and my February order should be into grading since it was separated from the January order by a month. It should be something like 18 weeks for my April order, so maybe it won't be too far behind my August 2-Day moderns order.

@xkonk, I also got a late January submission that has been in grading/labels since 6/16. My april submission just stays at Submitted.

The books that I submitted at the beginning of March for just grading came back about 2-3 weeks ago. But am still waiting on another submission I made at a con.

Do y’all find that the books move slower, faster or at the same pace when submitted at shows?

Anything I want back in a timely fashion I sub under quickstream. Books for my PC usually go slower since I am in no rush to get them back.

Today's the half-year mark for my oldest submission - 26 weeks since it was received. Pressing and grading, no fast anything, multi-tier order including (gulp!) Expanded.

Choosing the fast options definitely speeds you up. I had another multi-tier order (again with Expanded) that I submitted in April with fast press and fast pass. It came back to me in 11 weeks. So I guess the lesson is the fast options cut your TAT by significantly more than half.

I’ve heard here and there that recently books submitted at a show have appeared on dashboards within a week or two from the end of the show but I haven’t experienced that myself.

As far as turnaround times, there is no difference as to how quickly they move through the process

April 27th (show drop off)
currently in the grading stage at 86 business days from when my account was charged

August 6th - two day modern -

hope this helps others determine their actual timelines

I'm sitting here with notta and mine were early march, they jumped right on my credit card. can't email, won't answer call, so I feel ya. How hard would it be to hire a person to just update the dashboards. but some people get emails, and dashboards telling some kind of update.

Wondering if anyone could help and give an update on my order 21-17AB0BB.

These books were submitted at a con the weekend of April 9th and from what I remember reading should have been delivered the Wednesday after, which would be April 14th. My invoice though says April 28th. Regardless, if it was truly submitted on the 14th, then I am looking at 20 weeks with over half that time in labels. If the 28th, I'm looking at 18 weeks, with around 10 weeks of that time being in labels. I know these are unprecedented times, but I'm beginning to get anxious....
