| Hello all! Im sure this has been brought up overtime, but i am just wondering if peeling thr digital code would lower the grade of a comic book? | ||

| If you had a 9.8 with a pulled sticker, it's a 9.6. Below that I don't think (but am not positive) that it matters. | I'm sure CBCS does it differently, but there are 9.8s with CGC that read "DIGITAL CODE REMOVED" under title and issue. There are ways to replace and reattach digital code sticker inserts. The code itself is on the book, not the sticker. You would need a donor book's insert and utilizing methods (not discussed here as that would be techniques) about cleaning and pressing. This falls under the gray area of conservation/restoration, if caught. |

| I'm fairly certain that the highest grade CBCS will give a comic with the code removed is 9.6. As for the label, if the signature is verified, it will have a yellow label. | ||

| Digital code label removed refers to cases where the book does not contain a code (ie it is missing). If you redeem digital code and it is still there in the book at time of slabbing, there will not be a note. | ||
