| from what I understand in 1986 newsstand editions were printed about 1/1 with direct editions. so 50% chance of a double cover being a newsstand. have no idea how many double covers exist. probably one of a very small herd of unicorns. | ||

| The graph I usually find when googling newsstand vs direct editions says that they were basically 50/50 in '85 and '86, so that alone wouldn't swing things too much, I wouldn't think. Being a double cover and a 9.8 ain't too shabby though. | ||

| My LCS has the same issue with a double cover. If I recall it was a 9.2 outside and a 9.4 inside. | ||
