| Hi! I just bought a copy of X-Men #1 signed by Stan Lee with a COA and an Excelsior hologram sticker, so it’s legit. I’m interested in getting it verified and graded, but will the sticker (on the actual comic) lower the grade? Please advise. Also, why the hell would they put it on the actual comic? When I bid on it on eBay, I thought for sure it was on the plastic. Should’ve checked. |

| @Patrickjones2549 Yes it will affect the grade. They put it on the comic so it cannot be separated from the comic in the way a CoA can. Regardless, Stan Lee signatures are notoriously difficult to verify. Despite it originally coming from the Stan Lee store, it could still fail verification. |

| Yes, the sticker will lower the grade. No, the COA and the sticker do not guarantee that the signature will pass VSP and receive a verified label. Didn't we just have another thread on this where a book in the same situation failed VSP? | ||
