I just don't want to see it get archived. @NScott provides me with things to add to my list.

Here’s some comics I picked up in Mexico when I was a wee tot.

These first few books are from around 1996. I’ll have to double check but I don’t think these Spider-Man, X-Men, and FF books had ad pages so they had extra space which they used to serialize a graphic novel. The Spider-Man books had Wolverine/Punisher: The Africa Saga. Fantastic Four had Spider-Man 2099 meets Spider-Man. And the X-Men book had Wolverine: Knights of Terra

These books are all from the same publisher. They’re from the mid-90s

These Marvels I think were released alongside the US release

These next two collected about 3 issues each from the Knightfall/Quest/End saga. The first one is from KnightQuest, which here is called “Crusade of the Bat.” The second one from Knightsend called “Duel of the Bats”

Characters associated with Spiders and having black costumes that pre-date Marvel's The Amazing Spider-Man #252 in the USA!

ARGENTINA, Araña Negra #12 (1975, Ediciones Récord S.C.A.)
Araña Negra is the female character on the couch (also known as "Namur" ) but her sidekick looks awfully familiar 9 years before the USA costume change at Marvel!

INDONESIA, Labah-Labah Hitam, "Pembajak Udara" #1 (1972)

Labah-Labah Hitam or Labah2 Hitam = Black Spider - this is a completely different character from US Spider-Man by Marvel despite the similar likeness, a full 12 years before the USA costume change at Marvel!

Here are some international examples of the same phenomena post-ASM 252!

INDIA, परमाणु (=Parmanu = US Atom likeness from DC), "ब्ब्लैक स्पाइडर"
(=Blaik Spaidar = "Black Spider" ) (c. 1994, Raj Comics #615, Hindi)

The Black Spider is this issue seems influenced by US Spider-Man (as is Parmanu and DC's Atom)!

PHILIPPINES, Pinoy Kids Komiks (June 13, 1995, Atlas Publishing, Tagalog) - Spiderboy is another character local to the Philippines that has the likeness of US Spider-Man from Marvel.

I don’t focus on international books, but this German edition of Sensational Spider-Man looks cooler than US version to me.

I got two international edition comics today. They both contain 4 to 5 different stories. The Captain America is a Greek comic and is half black and white and half color. As you look at it, the two pages you see are color. When you turn the page, the next two are black and white. It alternates that way throughout the whole comic. I haven't figured out all the issues yet, but I know the Cap story is from issue #165. The cover art is taken from a panel in the comic.

The Conan comic is from Italy. I am not sure which issue it is yet. And there is a Red Sonya story also!! I know I have read it and it's driving me crazy that I can't remember the issue!!! Anyway, I have fun researching all these.

Edit: the Red Sonja story was originally published in The Savage Sword of Conan #1 in black and white. It was printed in color for the first time in Marvel Feature (1975) #1.

Posted yesterday but received the Italian version of ASM 299 & 300. All color, sturdy production. I was surprised.

Here's a few cheap international editions I got today. One thingI enjoy about foreigns, is they often have interesting back covers. These are some great examples of that and are the basic reason why I got these.
