Guys, I just have to share my experience with you all that I had with The Comic Mint.
I recieved a damaged comic book I ordered, but I have to point out this was the first time I have ever recieved a damaged comic from The Comic Mint (and I order a lot through them).

Below is a picture of my email where I simply asked what the return policy is and if they even had another copy left in stock, I have also included a picture of their reply:





I totally was not expecting that! That is going beyond expected actions/expectations, and I wanted to share this positive post with you guys.

Maybe some of you fellow collectors have never bought from The Comic Mint before but after seeing this will give them a try! I have always recieved "Mint" comics from them except for this last order, and you all seen the great customer service they provided that more then fixed the problem.

Good news story!! S**t happens....how it's dealt with is the real indicator of how the company operates. Good to hear you're being taken care of.

Steven Finkel, the owner of TCM, is a pretty stand up guy. He is definitely a credit to our hobby.

I have only ordered 2 or 3 times from them and every time they have been great. My last experience with them was when I ordered 2 separate items at different times. One was taking a while to ship. I asked if they could hold the other comic until that one was ready. They obliged and refunded me the extra shipping cost. Fantastic customer service.

Update:

I just sent The Comic Mint an email thanking them for the great customer service and I got an email from Steven himself & I also have to share with you guys!

The Comic Mint is now officially my go to online comic store!

I too, have ordered from them several times, all without issue. Great customer service is what keeps folks coming back. This just personifies what @Jesse_O stated in his post.

Always like Comic Mint. No complaints. They occasionally show up here in the forums (I think Steven himself has posted before) under TCM.

here’s one instance Steven helped me out with a while back

Absolutely! I love The Comic Mint and I've been buying from them for a couple years now. I've also adopted their methods for packing and shipping comics, when I send stuff in to get it graded. I wish I knew where to get those cardboard squares they use! But so far I've been recycling theirs and have only run out a few times.

They have a lot of big sales during the year and special promotions. For these big events they will make a donation to a charity after, and usually survey the "insiders" group for suggestions. And, of course, their customer service is the best in the business. I've talked to Alejandra a few times via email and she is great.

The Comic Mint has the best customer service I have ever experienced in all my collecting years. When I can buy through them I always make sure to do so!

I asked about it after I had placed a number of orders - they're keeping the amount of people in it low, so there isn't an automatic invite to the group.

Yes, I sort of stumbled into it, got lucky, since the number of people is limited now (I think to 750). You should get on the waiting list now, and maybe you can get in in a year or two. FYI, Amorphous Ink and Frankie's also have insider groups.

That , Is some above and beyond the call of duty customer service, Perhaps now with the backlash to outsourcing and dropped profits due to extremely bad customer service...we will see more businesses return to GOOD....
these guys are great letting you keep the other book - GREAT
