| @brysb I need to be stopped. In the last 2w, I bought a NM+ Blue Lizard, a NM-/NM Platinum Raw, a Sealed (seemingly NM or better) Diamond TPB and a raw Diamond TPB. I've got doubles of some pretty rare books for trade/sale. | I'm still trying to convince myself to bite the built on a Blue Lizard. I had the biggest grin on my face the day I found both McFarlane signed/stamped covers at my LCS for $10 each. I wish I had something to offer for trade but it looks like you are much further along in the collection than I am lol! Great collection! |

| @Ladic Yes, it is 100% fake. MCS does not verify what their customers want to sell. Be careful with them, I've seen books mislabeled, and sold for the wrong prices. They also can't give you additional photos ever, and sometimes only show the front cover of a book. I'm not a fan of theirs. | ||

| @mattness Thank you very much. I believe the Gold UPC, Diamond TPB, Platinum Cover and UK/Amiga are real investment-grade books at high grades. The Gold UPC you see in my set, I bought from WalMart originally, and never cracked the cover. 9.8 candidate for sure. Going to submit it at NYCC along with a raw Platinum Cover I just picked up. Also submitting 2 Diamond TPBs, one of which is still sealed and has no color rubs anywhere. I'm hoping for another 9.6. We'll see. | ||

| @mattness @PhantomEwan @Siggy @xkonk @dartelum @Ladic @bythegram @00slim @brysb : Im trying to get my hands on more of these, please LMK if you find one in the wild: Spider-Man Torment Trade Paperback - Diamond Distributors Edition Print Run: 700 Graded: 9 (2 x 9.6, 2 x 9.4, 3 x 9.2, 1 x 8.5 & 1 x 7.5) This was an incentive book, given to the 700 top comic sops selling Spider-Man in 1990. When the book was shipped, it was heat shrink-wrapped too tightly, and most/all copies were damaged. The vast majority of copies have bad color rub around the edges of the front and back cover. This book is notoriously difficult to find in high grades (CGC 9.6 is top grade). There are 4 on eBay now ranging in price from $190 to $450, but they are all beat up with color rubs. Every one. They are VG/F to F/VF at best. There isn't a NM- or better book available at the moment. I'm up to 4 copies (CGC 9.6, CGC 9.2, high grade raw (Sealed), and a F/VF raw copy). The sealed copy will be submitted for grading next Friday. Hoping for a 9.6 or better. I can't see anything wrong with it, but the plastic is still on, so I can't be sure. We will see. |
