Yep Sub-Mariner 1, S.H.I.E.L.D. 1, Iron Man 1&2, Silver Surfer 2 and, I think, 1 or 2 others......
Yes that find, was the one I remember. My local LCS seemed to have a stack of each of those ...

I would not have bought this if I'd known there had been a warehouse find. It's a neat comic, but owning things where the supply far exceeds the demand does not bring me joy.

I have about 20 mint copies of this and unused mailers.

So if we can read on the sign that we're now leaving Central City, what's that city in the background?

And you'd think Central City could afford something nicer than a piece of wood on a stake. Looks like a yard sale sign.

"The Beckett database confirms this is Barry Allen's signature, but he's just a mild-mannered forensic investigator!"

I know of a couple of guys in Los Angeles that have 100s of thousands of uncirculated comics from the 60s on up that they have squirrled away for the future. They used to buy out comic stores amd distributors.
Would love to get in an rummage through that stuff.

Yep. Lot of high grade copies of that book and they never fetch the same price as the issues around it in the same grade.

This book has me wondering what happened with it....Thor 156...405 copies in the census, and of those 305? scored a 9.0 or higher, for a white cover comic no less?

Moving backwards, to issue 151, the next white cover moving backwards through the run you get 3 graded copies, nothing over 8.5

Moving forward however,to Thor issue 159 you get 255 graded copies and 169 of those scored over 9.0
, again another white cover. Issue 156 seems to have a massive percentage of the graded copies scoring higher than the next two closest issues in the run with white covers.

Iconic cover. I don't own many early Spider-man comics. Once I got AF #15, they were off my radar.

@sborock Classic cover. Love Steranko's Hulk.

Also from the days when Cap was making Rick Jones dress up as Bucky, which in retrospect should have made everyone very, very uncomfortable.

@sborock That's one of my all time favorite Cap covers as well. And no captions or dialogue to ruin a beautiful Steranko cover.
