Seeing the relatively great condition of some of these geriatric comics, I wonder if you could share any interesting stories of particularly gnarly šŸ§«šŸ”¬šŸ‘ØšŸ»ā€šŸ”¬ (biohazard?!) condition situations you may have encountered and how you had to handle them?

Gorgeous book! Not a trace of browning in the whites and the colours are so bright. Looks new!

Clearly any Bucky that was seen after this comic book is some other person. There is no way in heck that cap was able to save Bucky, seeing how close those blades are to his neck. All these years have been a sham.

I have found that books purchased and stored in Northern states tend to preserve well and keep those white pages much longer than books from the South. Too humid down here. I'm in Florida, so humidity is like 10 months out of the year.

@Nearmint67 Yup. A Wyoming basement at 4,000 feet is much better for comics than a sea level New Orleans shed.

Don't slit your wrists, they're just foreign reprints.

Yup, that's me, Mr. Boring. Questions like these always remind me of a Metallica quote: "Honesty is my only excuse, try to rob me of it but it's no use" šŸ¤˜šŸ¤˜

Absolutely beautiful and while not on my list, I can appreciate it. Iā€™m a DC collector and I look for foreign editions, when I can find the rarely offered for sale editions.

I remember when this series came out. Lots of fun and George Perez's great artwork, too. It's amazing how he could put so much on a cover and yet it never seemed to be too busy.

This. 100% This. Finding older books in good condition in TX is damn near impossible because of humidity.
