@earthshaker01 1st Miles Morales. You need to see the movie, it's so much fun!

They are selling for $350 a pop on eBay, raw, for nice copies. $900 - $1000 for graded 9.8. Your friend is sitting on a small fortune.

Not the highest grade, but one of my favorite Batman Golden Age covers. (My favorite is #5)

@sborock Perhaps not the highest grade, but I'm pretty sure I could eventually convince myself to be satisfied with that.

Pure genius. I'm not even a Batman collector & that's one of my favorite GA covers.

Iron man 47 cover would make a nice issue 1 cover. It has that premier look.

I just sent in a submission containing a minty GA western... it’s not on CGC or CBCS census/population report, so I think it’s my best chance of seeing one of my books on this thread. 🤞
I just really like the Painted cover art.

so on target, I was always let down by the cover or Iron man 1 , but this one would have been much better

@sborock The first & arguably best infinitely shapable superhero courtesy of Jack Cole's unique comic style.

It would be interesting to go back through the history of comics and see how many times a villain has chosen to direct his various minions from the vantage point of a glorified cherry picker.

I think I may have just found my next weekly cover contest topic ... for whenever I win, that is.

Oh, man, that's a pretty book. Wow! Did it make 9.8? Or was the top left corner blunting enough to keep it to 9.6?

Your job would drive me crazy, because I'd always be pulling for comics like this.

this is one of those books that I’m pretty sure I’ve seen skimming through the dreck at half price books and the thought nags me. Did I really see it there? I would really like a copy for the PC but not for $300 - $1000.
