Maybe this is where the WWF cough cough WWE got the idea for Royal Rumble.

@sborock Isn't the highest graded copy a 6.0?

That copy is sweeeeet!

@Pre_Coder look closely at cover tattered around all edges. Just based on that 5.5 to 6.5 without even seeing back cover or inside. IMHO

Yeah, I saw all that. Just saying it's a sweet looking copy.

@Pre_Coder there is something about covers or panels with syringes 💉 that make a comic extra eerie.

I forgot to add that many of these are quite hard to find in higher grades, apparently the excitement of dinosaurs on an island during world war 2 created a lot of damaged comics.

Great run on that series.

Byrne on FF.
Simonson on Thor.
Claremont on X-Men and New Mutants.

I wish Marvel could recapture just a tenth of what it was back then.

Agreed!

80s Marvel had some amazing talent and stories.

I’d add the Stern/ Buscema Avengers run from that same general time period on there, too.

And I guess we have to mention Miller’s Daredevil, too!
