I loved reading and collecting Metal Men as a young teenager......got a wee bit older, beer and women came along.....and threw them away 😂😂😂😂

I love the Metal Men! I got there first appearance but it came back with a restored 7.0 label. anyways thrilled to own it.

@southerncross I wouldn't say I love them but they certainly don't turn me off.....I guess I'm indifferent to them. They do convey a cool mental image where a Newsie would have stamped a stack of books...

I'm with you, I don't care where it's placed or if it has a store stamp, I usually try and look up the store to see if it is still open. I enjoy the tiny bit of history that date/store stamps convey.
