Mr Borock have you ever seen any early Wonder woman, Sensation comics or perhaps even comic calvacade issues pass through your hands signed by Ms Joyce Hummel?

Possible variations...
Joyce Hummel
Joyce Murchison
Joyce Murchison Hummel
Joye Kelly

and now I have verifiable proof her actual name is Joye as I had suspected, making her current name Joye Kelly

@Darkseid_of_town Not to my knowledge, but that said, I don't remember all the books I have graded all these many years. It would be cool to see anyway!

I haven't ever found a single signature she has done offered for sale on ebay, metropolis, MCS or any other site ive visited. Shes almost like a ghost....ghost writer@!
It might be a fools errand trying to verify her signature once I obtain it , given the difficulty ive had finding it myself.

How do you know for sure if the verification service has examples to compare and is able to validate peoples signatures? is it a blind guess and if not sorry, unable to verify and you still drop that money or do they not charge if unable to validate?

"If" CBCS uses the same database as Beckett. you can search by name. I once searched for harry potter cast to see how much the signatures cost

@Darkseid_of_town I searched Becketts online name database and did not find her. You might want to contact Beckett to find out if it can be done. Otherwise, maybe you could get the proper paperwork from CBCS, have her file them out and mail the comics direct from her to CBCS. I THINK it can be done that way. You may want to contact CBCS Customer Service on that one.

wow I love the ship at the top in the logo..the superstructure and outline appear to be the US Arizona...what date was the comic printed ?

Appears to be October 1941 a few months before pearl harbor...if that is the Arizona and especially with those diver bombers dropping bombs...was the printed date far enough behind the comic actually was printed after the attack?

Ovverstreet says two issues later in issue 18 it shows the Asian forces attacking pearl harbor on stands one full month before the event....I wonder if they are confusing the covers somehow...

That is a German zombie soldier (wearing a German helmet from World War I), so it’s probably not Pearl Harbour.

I was looking more at the ship silhouette as it appears to be the Arizona, which was part of the Pacific fleet. It also appears to be in the process of being dive bombed by those planes....but I agree with you about the zombie skeleton soldier

Maybe those are Stuka dive bombers attacking the ship...but it definitely has the superstructure and turrets for the Arizona...odd

I like how the German zombie is all skeleton except for one flesh-covered, natural-colored hand.

And what's going on with Uncle Sam's right foot?

No, the dates went the other way. The "October" comic would be on the stands in August. That way, they appear to be new for a couple months. (They certainly wouldn't want to make the comic appear older than it really is!)

which only heightens my point about the timing...but you are right about which way the dates work, thanks..just an odd coincidence I guess
