| @Jesse_O Yeah, I'm on Chuck's (Mile Highs) email thing and it's pretty much always entertaining. Groan worthy sometimes, but always entertaining. There were a couple of things about this collection I think worth redirecting or mentioning. Chuck said there were three generations of collectibles here - but that he DID NOT purchase the grandfathers books. Chuck also mentioned that he made a single purchase of the books. If you been reading his missives regularly or watched any of the videos, this is significant. He buys a lot of large collections, but he puts money down and signs a contract to make payments on the balance. This allows sales of the books to pay for the collections. He says he does this to stay out of debt with the banks. But his wording indicates this collection was cash up front. Paid for all at once. |
