Is it bad when you pay $100 more for a book that you've been waiting months & months to get it? I bought 4 of these from Legacy Comics. When I received them, 3 of the 4 were damaged. I called the company and informed them of the damaged books. They stated that they only sell Near Mint to Mint books. I believe since I bought 3 or more, they just decided to give me anything as longs as they are making the money getting rid of them. The corners of the books are damaged along with the spinal of the book. I'm in the process of sending them back but I have to pay for shipping.

I don’t buy a lot of store exclusives but i do order my monthly books online. When I originally started with them they would send the books in a box if there were more than a certain number of books or an envelope if it was only a few. A couple of times the books were damaged due to the envelope but both those times they replaced the books they could (and refunded me the ones that were out of stock) without even requesting the damaged books back. After the second time I requested they always ship my books in a box and have zero issues since

Appreciate the information. They requested me to ship the books back after showing them pictures of the damage. I've returned them. They didn't let me keep these. Lol. Out of all 4 I kept one. They said the damage to the spine is normal because they sell Near Mint to Mint books. Before I purchased the books, it didn't state that I was buying Near Mint to Mint books. Quote:

@hogan36 I don’t think many places let you keep the products they’re refunding or replacing lol it definitely impressed me as a customer as well as the fact that they fixed the issue and I haven’t had an issue with them since

Do not pay return shipping, item should be not as described. Seller pays shipping.

Assuming eBay?

No, in his second sentence he said he ordered them from Legacy Comics

@dielinfinite ah yes, missed it. That's really lame. They should give you a credit/reimburse for sure.
