xkonk's revived sale thread9796

Collector xkonk private msg quote post Address this user
I'm making another go at selling some of my collection. I dropped off before because I was trying to scan everything, so instead this time I'm starting with phone pics. I don't think anyone will mind too much for the cheap stuff, and I'm happy to take more pictures or scans of anything if anyone asks.

Details are the same as my previous thread. The main thing to note is that shipping is paid by the buyer at cost added to the price in the post. That's so you can pick a shipping method if you want and can combine multiple buys into one purchase. A fair amount of stuff in that thread is still available if you look through, and it'll eventually end up back on here as well. I'm still happy to trade if we can work something out.

Every time I post something here, I'm also going to post it on my eBay to start a week later (user name konke2015). So if you see something here that's over a week old you can check eBay, and if it's still there you can grab it here or there.

Amazing X-Men run. It's the full series, 1 to 19 plus the annual, except for some reason I'm missing #5. This is the proverbial 'read once and put in a bag', but I'll say condition for all is roughly VF. All 19 books for $10.

Marvel Knights X-Men full run, 1 through 5. This is the proverbial 'read once and put in a bag', but I'll say condition for all is roughly VF. $5.

Astonishing X-Men lot. Issues 52 to 55 and 58. This is the proverbial 'read once and put in a bag', but I'll say condition for all is roughly VF. $4.

X-Men '92 lot, from the 2016 series (not the Secret Wars limited series). I've got issues 3, 5, 6, 7, 9, and 10. Relive some of your 90s cartoon nostalgia. This is the proverbial 'read once and put in a bag', but I'll say condition for all is roughly VF. $4.

X-Men: Worst X-Man Ever miniseries. A story about a mutant whose power is to explode.... once. This is the proverbial 'read once and put in a bag', but I'll say condition for all is roughly VF. $4.

X-Men Unlimited lot. Includes 1, 2, 3, two copies of 4 (I can take one out if you don't want it but want the rest), 5, 11, 15, and 17. I've had these for a while but they should be in FN-VF or better condition. Issue 4 is where it is confirmed that Mystique is Nightcrawler's mother. Eight (or nine) issues for $5.

Uncanny X-Force (first series) lot. Includes issues 6, 8, 9, 13, 14, 15, 19, 21-29, and 34. I got these via subscription so I handled them well, but they came through the mail in less than optimal packaging. I think they're all still FN-VF or better. 17 issues for $10.

let me guess - you like x-men?

i am hearing that house of X #2 is one of the best x-men issues ever from a story perspective

@poka you nailed it. Currently posting my way through an X-related box, then will move on to something else. I'll probably detour into some more Avengers-type stuff to keep interest going a bit.

House of X 2 was interesting. I try not to judge books too much before a series is over when it's something like this and obviously building to something. As a single issue it's definitely the best of the three so far. House 1 was a set-up book that raised questions more than anything else, and Powers 1 was sort of like exposition. But nothing has disappointed me yet; I hope it holds up.

Uncanny X-Force, 2nd series, nearly full run. Issues 1-16, which means it's missing 17. I got these via subscription so I handled them well, but they came through the mail in less than optimal packaging. I think they're all still FN-VF or better. 16 issues, $5.

X-Force, 4th series, issues 1-5. I bet you didn't know there were four series of X-Force, did you? Trick's on you; there have been five, not including other names like Cable and X-Force or Uncanny X-Force. Anyway, I got these via subscription so I handled them well, but they came through the mail in less than optimal packaging. I think they're all still FN-VF or better. Five issues for $4, mostly to justify the cost and hassle of shipping to you.

Random X-Factor books! First series 107 and 111, third series 16 and 28. Two copies of first series annual 6; as with the earlier post, you can opt out of one of them if you'd like. Five (or six) books for $4. The picture for 107 is too big to post, but it is in similar condition to the others, FN-VF.

Adventures of Cyclops and Phoenix full miniseries, 1-4. These weren't mine originally and I haven't read them, but they look FN-VF or better. Four issues for $5.

X-Men Adventures. Everyone loved the 90s cartoon, right? Get the next best thing! Issues 1 and 7 from season 1 and issues 1, 5, and 7 from season 2. I'll give these the usual FN-VF or better. 5 issues, $4.

Uncanny Inhumans lot, issues 18-20. Inhumans, xkonk, you say? Yes, it's from the X-Men vs Inhumans storyline. These were sent from Midtown Comics with my pull list, so they have been treated well and should be VF or better. Three issues, $4.

Wizard Wolverine Special. It's in the original polybag but the bag has been opened. Still have the Wild Thing #0 included (take note, everyone jumping on Marvel Comics Presents these days). I didn't take a close look at all, but let's say everything is at least FN. $5.

As a side note, I do have a few Wizards but they are sprinkled throughout my boxes. I can dig through specifically, instead of posting as I come to them, if anyone is seriously interested. They will all have been opened and read.

Wolverine first series lot, early issues 2, 5, and 17. More Wolverine to come if someone wants to put in a hold. They're all pretty clean copies, I would say VF or better; more pictures always available. $10.

Wolverine first series, another copy of 17, 18, 30, and 37. You can see the little sticker on 17; I self-graded it at about VF+. Similarly with 18 but FN. 30 is in the generic FN-VF range. 37 is a newsstand but in rough shape. My conservative nature would put it VG-FN. Four issues for $10.

Wolverine (mostly) 50s lot. Issues 46, 51, 53-56. I haven't taken a close look at these so I'll put them in the usual FN-VF or better bin. Six issues, $6.

Wolverine 80s lot, with a bonus 69 (nice). Issues 69 (a second copy from the previous listing), 83, 84, 85, 86, and 87. These should fall in my usual FN-VF or better range. Six issues, $5.
