This one took a while... and just remember, I didn’t ruin a newsstand edition so it’s OK.

Why not draw over a crappier book? Choose any of Liefeld’s!

1.This particular copy was a F/FV, I’ve got about ten more copies in better condition, raw, slabbed, and 2nd prints. It holds value in top grade but that’s it; it was a huge print run.

2. I also learned I cannot strip ink from a standard cover; this book has a thick card stock cover that stripped really well. You are absolutely correct in recommending a Liefeld book, I just need a foil one with the thick cover. Ideas?

3. I’ve always loved/hated this cover because it looks great overall but Spider-Man’s lower left leg has an extra bend in it, and his feet are misshaped. Comparing original art to mine it can be noted Spidey’s lower left leg has been straightened and his feet made more realistic.

Sometimes there is a fun sense of freedom when we try to keep all our books Mint & then we get a beater that when can fold up when we read or it doesnt have to be protected
I have a few cool readers of classic storylines like DD 181 that are in miserable shape I don't have to treat them with kid gloves!
That's cool what you did!
