I think these are it.

For the record, these were some of the books at the store when I bought my X-Men 1. That was an awesome collection. I only have 2 pics but there were so many keys. Unfortunately, some dealer swooped in a few days later and bought everything.

I think he just meant that if the sales average goes up a bit on some of the other books in his collection, he’ll have more that are worth $1k +.

I thought this was a dud a few years back. I'm glad it's starting to head in the right direction.

This is a book I bought years ago. This book hasn't done much in a long time, but it's still a key book for me.

I’m curious as to why people blackout the serial numbers on slabs?

I’m not doubting there’s a good reason, I’m just unaware as to what it might be.

Information about CGC registry is here: https://www.cgccomics.com/registry/

I do it because there may be someone out there that is trying to build a low grade registry.

The least consequential reason I can think of is that you can log books on a "registry" and pending your collection bragging rights.
Or in my case, keeping a poor man's log of all CGC books owned.

Now you might say, who can be that petty? Well I tried entering a number and it said it belonged to someone else, and although I had the book in hand, they refused to relinquish the number.

So, they want to pretend they own a book?

It doesn’t shock me, but it is particularly sad.

Appreciate the info @50AE_DE & @Bronte 👍🏼
