DIGITAL 49th Edition Overstreet Comic Book Price Guide9569

Forum Crier OGJackster private msg quote post Address this user
If you use the digital Overstreet Price Guide, the 49th Edition Overstreet Comic Book Price Guide is available for download from Heritage Auctions for $18 if you are upgrading. Otherwise, it's $29.99.

The initial link was not correct in the email I received to get the upgrade for $18. So If you got one as well you may need to give them a call to get the new link for download by calling 1-877-437-4824. For you Overstreet haters, no need to comment on my post. Thanks

That's a joke right? there really can't be people silly enough to be "Overstreet haters" and if there are (I guess everyone is entitled to their opinion) would they be rabid enough to post something hateful on a benign PSA posting?

Whether you agree with the pricing or not, the Overstreet Guide is an invaluable tool for things like figuring out how many issues there were of a title, when a series started or ended, looking up 1st appearances and other useful tidbits like that. Plus the market reports are always interesting, as well as the pictures of cool comics. I didn’t even know that there was a digital edition, although that makes perfect sense. Thanks for sharing this. However, I think I will stick with the print version, since the price for the digital copy isn’t any cheaper than buying the actual book on Amazon.

@michaelekrupp Agreed! Heritage Auctions is the only place that offers the digital format. I've been getting it since its inception with #38 in 2008. It's also nice to be able to do a search for a particular item and have it with you when traveling. Also as I said above, it's only $18 every year when upgrading.

I pretty much have no use for it. Online sources have equally inaccurate prices if I want them. Online guides don't filter out comic titles and categories to fit into a hand held print publication. I want a MORE complete price guide, not a less complete one. It always annoyed me that they didn't list underground comics. I think they filter out B&W comics now too. To me, it's useless.

The funny thing is that I think the editor told me the Atlas/Seaboard publication "My Secret #1" was listed one year. I asked him 'Why?" because I own one and it's not even a comic.
