While recent cancellations by George Perez and others have been disappointing the upcoming shows have also been adding artists. Toronto Fan Expo added a few more artists including Todd McFarlane, Steve McNiven, and Humberto Ramos. |

Does Todd use cbcs for signatures? Who am I kidding...lines will be too long anyway or price will be too high. Does he have a $200 event I can go to so i can skip the craziness??

In the recent past, he has done 2 private signings a year, from what I was told. You have to go through a facilitator for those signings. I'm not sure he is still doing them, however, since I haven't seen a signing advertised for a while now. That was how I was able to get my ASM 300, Hulk 340, and Spawn 1 signed and graded with yellow label. At cons, he will sign for free, but raw only and there is usually a limit on the number of books. You can get those graded later and use CBCS for a red label (VSP program).

I have been doing some research and I may have missed the train on this for 2019. I am going to send a couple of emails out and I will update if I can find any facilitators who are excepting submissions. I have a ASM 316 9.8 that I would like to get witnessed.

No CBCS (at least not,) can't slab anything signed at conventions. You can VSP the sig, though. Red label instead of yellow.

@JustThatGuy is that in all cases? Even through a facilitator? Cause that would mean there is no way for anyone to get a witnessed Todd signature for here on out right? Just trying to get all facts straight. Thanks!

@Noblebeast315 correct. The only way for a gold label is through CGC at a private signing twice a year. It’s a real shame he’s like that.

There is a package for Jim Lee ($129 for 3 signatures and some swag if my memory serves). Any idea if Todd does similar packages?

Also, it’s good to remember that while in the past CBCS would honor CGC yellow labels, so if you have old McFarlane sigs in a yellow CGC case you could get them reslabbed into a CBCS yellow, but due to recent changes in CGC witnessing practices, CBCS will not honor CGC signatures obtained recently (I think sigs dated June of this year and later)

@GAC I wouldn't say that they hate CBCS but Kirkman, McFarlane, and Byrne refuse to deal with them. I think David Michilini is another one but it has been almost a year since I have seen him at a show. |

David Michelinie had a private signing with CBCS last Terrificon. I used CBCS's drop off service to avoid any lines. It worked out since Alan Davis and Starlin had long lines. |

I’m hoping he’ll find it in his heart to come in down to Baltimore. As awesome as it is he is doing Boston, I can’t make that trip come together in two weeks. I already have work scheduled that weekend that I can’t back out of.
