| Here’s the thing... I learn a lot from this forum, I’ve caught my LCS napping quite a few times and I usually tell him before I buy. He gets every title almost and that’s valuable to me so if I learn something I usually pass it along, sometimes if I go in for a rando he’ll even ask “why you lookin for this”, and when I go back his other copies are re priced. After reading this thread this morning I had my wife go in and scalp more copies cuz I know only a few turtles readers n knew he would have them. I feel filthy, he knows my wife and I’m sure he looked them up finally after she left, ooooooooppps. Maybe he should read cbcs forums also, p.s. I got him a triple signed infinity gauntlet a month ago.. | ||

| @HeinzDad Just because you are armed with knowledge doesnt make you a bad guy. The LCS owner is taking your knowledge and making a profit. It's not like you are stealing food out of someone's mouth. The dealer knows and expects to sell books at a certain cost, typically a tad under cover to make money. In theory, if it didnt go up he would have just sold for cover anywsy.... I say sell or dont, but do it with a clear conscience. By the way, gratz for having a sig other that supports your addiction. |

| The Comic Mint has Cover A available for $12.00, or a graded 9.8 for $75. Here is the link. They put a "substantial quantity" up for sale last night, and also sold "a substantial quantity," but there are still some left. Not sure how long they will last. On the TCM "insiders" group last night they sold 280 sets of Cover A + B in less than 1 minute (with a limit of 3 per person). They put the Cover A by itself up for sale after, but didn't specify how many, or how many were sold already. My feeling is these will go fast. [edit]: FYI, these are the same cover that MBC is selling for $25. So, a very good deal. |

| I called my LCS first thing when they opened. They were able to order 3 for me of the "B" cover. The "gotta have it now" people are paying way to much if they are getting them on eBay. The holiday worked in my favor with the delay of finding out about this book. Most of the businesses closed yesterday gave me an extra day to search and find a cheaper way. | ||

| Thanks for the heads up. I was able to have my wife go by the "other" LCS in my town and get a set of A & B and I was able to swing by and get a copy of A,B, & C from my LCS. I don't collect TMNT, so my only concern is should I hold a set back or sell both of them now. |

| Since I learned about TMNT 95 from this thread I thought this would be the best place to share further information. The character that has now become a female turtle had a first appearance in TMNT 51 which is now red hot. Better still is the Rhode Island variant cover. Yet even better is the blank cover on which Eastman or another artist can draw the new character. |

| Asked my shop to order one for me. Sold all my copies of the A and B covers. If I’m going to hold onto one copy this is the one (of the open order copies). If don’t hear back by Monday I’ll order through someone else. I need to order a copy of 97 too...but I’m waiting for the B cover art to be revealed....not sure I want the 1:10 cover if I have to pay $25. |
