Our hobby is SO weird sometimes!!! TMNT #95 hit the stands today. It introduces a new female turtle character. I heard about it in a spec group on Facebook earlier today. On a whim, I bought a copy from MCS at cover. It seems that Diamond is all sold out now and eBay prices start at $15 plus shipping. MCS does not have any more listed for sale at the moment. Crazy, man, just CRAAAAAZZZZEEEEEEE!!!!! |

| @Drogio quite honestly, I buy for my own collection. I've never tried ordering more than a single copy of an issue from MCS. So. I really don't know if MCS limits the number on a regular basis or not. I honestly bought this one because I've always liked the turtles and have often wondered what a female turtle would look like in the TMNT universe. When I heard that the comic was heating up, I figured it was buy one now or never find out. LOL!!! | ||

| So, for three years I’ve hounded my LCS for the ri-a covers. He has a close friend that would get them every month. Six months ago he said he would get another ten if I committed to all three covers for 25, not the best deal but naturally I said yes. I couldn’t be more pleased after reading this thread this morning. My wife checked there today ( I and my LCS owner were working on the fourth) and got me another A and B cover. I have 33 dollars wrapped up in five books, I’ve never sold on eBay before but I’m watching a three cover lot already at 162. I gotta say I’m thinking of reaping a little off my reward. | ||

| Here’s the thing... I learn a lot from this forum, I’ve caught my LCS napping quite a few times and I usually tell him before I buy. He gets every title almost and that’s valuable to me so if I learn something I usually pass it along, sometimes if I go in for a rando he’ll even ask “why you lookin for this”, and when I go back his other copies are re priced. After reading this thread this morning I had my wife go in and scalp more copies cuz I know only a few turtles readers n knew he would have them. I feel filthy, he knows my wife and I’m sure he looked them up finally after she left, ooooooooppps. Maybe he should read cbcs forums also, p.s. I got him a triple signed infinity gauntlet a month ago.. | ||

| @HeinzDad Just because you are armed with knowledge doesnt make you a bad guy. The LCS owner is taking your knowledge and making a profit. It's not like you are stealing food out of someone's mouth. The dealer knows and expects to sell books at a certain cost, typically a tad under cover to make money. In theory, if it didnt go up he would have just sold for cover anywsy.... I say sell or dont, but do it with a clear conscience. By the way, gratz for having a sig other that supports your addiction. |
