With the Bronze membership, you get two free 2 day modern comics submissions and 3 free fast passes which can be used for most tiers. You also get the membership rate on all your submissions for a year. The value of two 2-day modern submissions is $80 ($40 each for non-members) and the value for three fast passes is $30 ($10 each for non-members). Total value of the coupons and the fast passes is $110. That is what you get to offset the $100 cost of membership.

With the Silver membership, you get 2 free submissions up to Rapid tier. You also get membership pricing on all submissions for a year. You can use the 2 free submissions for every tier except the one day submissions. The value of two rapid submissions is $162 dollars ($81 each for non-members). That is what you get to offset the $150 cost of membership.

With both options, you get membership pricing on all tiers, fast passes and imaging for one year. There is no membership discount on the ASP, VSP, reholder, slideshow or pressing charges.

Does that help?

I also want to mention. You do not have to get a membership to submit. If you know you're going to be submitting numerous books and definitely using the coupons it could certainly be worth it. If you're only going to dabble with a few to start you might want to wait and see.

@PlayTimeComics - Welcome. I just started my third year as a Bronze Member. Be aware that you don’t get physical coupons for the free submissions or fast passes, you have to physically write on your Invoice (which you fill out online and print before you submit your order) that you would like them applied to that order. If you don’t use them, you lose them. I made sure that I used them this past year and split them between two orders (of 5 books each). You also earn points for each submission, which builds up as credit that you can apply to a future invoice (again, you write the amount you want applied on your printed Invoice). You can see your earned credit balance next to your membership status. You can’t see your “coupons” and have to keep track of them yourself. Maybe someday “soon” CBCS can add more fearures and also show your unused “coupons” next to your membership information.

Memberships only last a year, so yes.

Thanks for the info @xkonk
Does anyone know if I can give these away?
I won't be using them and would hate to see them go to waste.

Can someone tell me the difference in *Press *FastPress & *Screen?

I am assuming that *Press is getting as much off of the book for a possible better grade, *Fastpress is just getting any wrinkles of the page make the book look straight etc.. and the *screen just a quick glance to see if it's worth pressing?

I would also like to know if I have a C.O.A and want it confirmed for a red label I would select add verified and add the COA in with the book??

CBCS can! https://www.cbcscomics.com/pressing Fast Press is just paying extra to have the pressing done faster than the current turnaround time.

You can send the COA if you want but CBCS will not use it to verify the signature. They should send it back to you though. They compare signatures to a database of signatures that they have.

@PlayTimeComics - Like @xkonk said, don’t bother sending in the COA with the comic. With or without it, the book would only qualify for a Red Label (VSP), not a Yellow Label. If CBCS/Beckett is able to verify the signature and you get the book back with a Red Label, just slide the COA in between the bag and the back side of the slab for future reference.
