"Venompool" - "Gwenpool" - "Deadpool"...." Cesspool".... ...rant in 3...2...1...0... Uhm...really!!!?? Isn't there enough of these money grabbing characters out there? Slowly I am moving away from Marvel - just because they can't create new and unique characters. SAD! You don't see DC rehashing beloved characters, except into something unique and new - and that is only after 60 yrs (*BWL). Yeah...yeah...Deadpool is cute and charming...now Venom will be too??? Oh goodie!! A crossover with the Smurfs? Yes?? WTF? Give me an effin' break already MCU. You really know how to kill a hobby. |

| To answer the OP’s question, I haven’t a clue, sorry. What if? Are some of my favorites going back to my teens. No strings attached or implied for continuity. Even my older brother who has never bought a comic will go to my What If’s to read. That’s where all these mix & match characters belong, if one seems to be a hit, then they get to be made part of the continuity, like Spider-Girl was. To be honest there’s very little room for originality of new characters anymore; this latest trend is a necessity. |

| Cable & Deadpool came out a couple years earlier and is in continuity, but I've never seen it listed as a 'Venompool' book. If that's what you want I think you want the What If. For the complainers, come back to me with how many Robins there are these days. Or Green Lanterns, or lantern colors, or people who survived Krypton.... Plus, both of the Deadpool stories are about 10 years old now. If you were going to ditch Marvel over it you missed the bus. |

| I can feel the disdain of Marvel over DC, because DC isn't doing it with every character NOR are they doing it every month like Marvel. Sure...I like Gwenpool too, but come on....how many "homages" do we need in the hobby - or how many do we really want? Sheez...am I the only one getting sick and tired of the AS#300 homage covers? I don't think so. How many of that one exists? And to top it off....people actually think the homage covers are collectible at hundreds of dollars? Trends will die. But no "konk"....I haven't ditched Marvel...yet...I've seen what they can do for the past 30 years....and I can see what DC has done over the past 30 yrs.....I just think what MCU is doing - is just money grabbing and they see the new collectors are all in. *shrugs* To each his/her own.....it is your cash. If you are hunting Deadpool keys. Deadpool 45 is a fun one - 1st full appearance of Evil Deadpool. Issue 44 has a cameo of him cut in little pieces stuffed inside a fridge. |
