So I recently bought a Han Solo #1 Variant CGC Signature Series 9.8 from John Tyler Christopher, you know that guy who has been cranking out the Action Figure Variants. I am going to be attending Rose City Comic Con, and I know Mark Brooks, who did the interior art, is going to be there. I know CBCS will be in attendance, so if I wanted to add Mark Brooks's signature to that same comic book, Does the CBCS WITNESS have to witness me cracking the slab open? What is the proper method of going about this? I do understand that CGC 9.8 can be a CBCS 9.6 If someone answered this question in the past, should we create a FAQ thread that only the moderator can edit? Thanks. |

Bring the slab to the CBCS booth, they can crack the slab there, and then have a witness escort you to the signing. It may be a bit difficult and it may be easier to work with a buddy in case someone needs to wait in line while someone else grabs the witness.

Sound advice given. Do not break it out yourself.
