| The Facebook page for Forbidden Planet’s Aberdeen branch has posted the sad news. It’s with heavy heart and great sadness that we have to announce that Forbidden Planet Aberdeen will be closing from 9th June. In the meantime we’re offering a 75% closing down sale discount on everything in the store. We’d like to thanks our loyal customers for their support over the last 18 years – you guys rule! We’re heart-broken over this situation, please be sure to come past and say ‘hi’ before the doors finally close We’d like to recommend that our standing order customers switch to the friendly and helpful guys at Plan 9. | I can't say anything about the in store service but for packages being shipped out they were horrible packers, maybe its one of the reasons for declining internet sales? | ||

| Went to forbidden planet shops in Scotland. Glasgow and Edinburgh. No old vintage books. Only vintage stuff was trades and toys maybe two years old. The rest were stuff just published. Anyway not good news to hear a comic shop close. Too bad comic shops are not like the comic shops in the 80s.Full of old vintage books. And I know. Been to comic book shops in Manhattan island. Heart of American comic books. No vintage except metro there. Checked out shops in Paris Ireland and Scotland same story. New stuff. Oh well there are the auction houses for vintage. Anyway sad to hear a business close. Especially for the regular customers there |
