I’m a little surprised that Cerebus hasn’t gotten more love on this thread, given it’s importance in the indie comics movement. This is my personal favorite issue, where Cerebus encounters Mick Jagger and Keith Richards of The Rolling Stones.

Space Ark was a fun comic.

This one may be one of the worst comics I’ve ever read. The ads in the fan press made it look so good! I couldn’t wait to pick it up. What I got was a weak story, terrible art and nearly indecipherable lettering.

Spotlight comics had some cool properties with great potential. Unfortunately, by the time they got out of the gate in the second half of 1987, the B&W explosion was already on its way to becoming the B&W implosion. Too bad they were so late to the party because I really love these characters.

I had no idea so many folks bought these books too. I was just going through a box and noticed I have bought a ton of the issues posted. My brother and I used to buy every comic the comic book store had come out mainstream or idies....

These were originally published between 1972 & 1975. Not really in the scope of the thread unless there was a late printing in the 80's that I don't know about. They are still really cool.
If you can pick up a reddish brown cover on Crypt of Terror cheap, grab it. Collectors are willing to pay more for it.

#17 was the only one I actually bought in the 80's. I'm not really a fan. I'll still buy any below #15 if they are very reasonably priced.

@X51 the East Coast reprints were definitely published in the ‘70s. Mainly posted them because they were indie comics and also for the sentimental value to me personally.
