Here’s a 1997 film that although it had a decent budget and some up-and-coming stars, flopped badly at the Box Office. I show it to my HS Genetics class every year, and it actually holds their attention!

Good movie. A bit slower paced, but well done.

Here’s an Arnold Schwarzenagger movie that few people have seen or even heard about due to a very limited release. Not your typical zombie movie and not what you would expect from him either.

@esaravo Maggie is a sad movie. That's also some of Arnold's best acting IMO.

This is one of the best and most stylish action horror flicks I've ever seen...and it's got Bill Paxton and Lance henriksen.

Early film directed by academy award winner Kathryn Bigelow

Demons (1985) & Demons 2 (1986) are really good horror films, not sure if they would be considered obscure, but they are Italian films so perhaps they are not well know in other Countries?

Ok... to have a budget of only $30k... that movie was simply amazing.

Looker is just bizarre... I think sometimes people forget that Michael Crichton directed a few films in addition to his novels being the basis of so many...this and runaway(with Tom Selleck!...and Gene Simmons) and Coma and the great train robbery and WESTWORLD were all directed by Crichton

Runaway would definitely fall into this "obscure movie" discussion. I always liked that one.

That's three of us so far. I didn't realize the movie had garnered such a post-release following.

Perhaps not all that obscure - but largely forgotten over the last almost 30 years.

Soooo, I’m not so sure how familiar people are with this one. Michael Mann’s Directorial debut & James Caan’s favorite Film he’s made after ‘The Godfather’.

Film enthusiasts are sure to know about it.
