@Batfan77 - If you would use the coupons - meaning they are services you would use anyway, then yes. Otherwise, if you are only submitting 20-30 books per year, your membership savings on services would be less than the cost of a Bronze Membership. I have had a Bronze Membership for at least four years, and try to use the coupons (but honestly they are not services I need). But I feel that I submit enough books per year to at least break even, and you also accumulate points per each submission that can be cashed out at a later date. | ||

Got the email today that the books are ready to be shipped, but no shipping notice from FedEx. Sneaky, sneaky CBCS - I am still hoping the FedEx email goes out today and I don't suffer the long weekend slog until I find out about my grades! Thanks, CBCS, seriously. You did a great job this time with an amazing turnaround! You guys are the best. (EDIT: Fast Pass is ABSOLUTELY worth it if you're impatient like I am. ![]() |

@Paint_Monk - I hate the "ready to be shipped" email. I am fine with waiting until I get that email. Then everyday that goes bye seems like a week! And Fridays are the worst because if it doesn't ship today, the torture continues until next week. Please don't send the "ready" email CBCS, just the "shipped" one! Sometimes it's better not to know. | ||

Seeing how pressing is so backed up, I’m anticipating about 8-9 month wait for 4 books I sent out yesterday. Any chance I’m wrong about that? Heard somethin about an upgraded pressing process, any chance that’ll kick in in the next couple months? | ||

@RexMuff CBCS is taking steps to improve the turnaround time for pressing. Moving pressing from Florida to Texas was the first step. They are expanding the pressing operations but it won’t happen overnight. You may not have to wait 9 months as others are but don’t expect them to fly through the process in two, either |

Anyword on the status of those who participated in the private signings ?(with Frank Miller, Scott Synder And whatnot) It says that the books will ship late June but it would be nice to know if the signings took place or not yet with all the pandemic related closings. |

@manbat57 depends on your tier (did you send 2-day modern or quickstream or something else?) but things seem to be pretty fast right now. The stated TAT is 5 weeks but some folks are getting things back in two. | ||

Can someone help me out here? Take a look at this invoice, it just updated this morning so I was excited to see that my books (which have been sitting at CBCS since September of last year) got some progress. Excited, and then quickly confused and angry. The Bartman vs Radioactive Man Ashcan is now categorized as \"2-Day Modern\"...I NEVER ASKED FOR 2-DAY SERVICE ON THIS BOOK. Not to mention, the price for grading/slabbing is now $40 and the Fast Press is now $50?!?!? WTF?!? I would NEVER have paid that much for either!! Why the sudden upgrade/forced upsell, CBCS? I waited patiently for these books to get done, and this is what I get for waiting? Now I have to pay 54 extra freaking dollars for a service I never asked for?!
