New to the forums. Sent off my first ever books during Planet Con. Sounds like turnaround time have really improved on gradeing side but what about the pressing side? Obviously it’s super early so just curious what the current status is. I fast passes my books.

i submitted two golden age books, Expanded tier, on March 23, 2019. received them via FedEx this past week (wednesday or thursday, May 1 or 2d). instead of 8-12 weeks, it took about 6.

They have definitely stepped up to the plate to give CGC a run for its money 🤗. I submitted 62 books March 10 and they were received the 14th and now they are in shipping!! Less than 8 weeks!!

Last pressing order I sent was on-time with fast press. It moved to grading in about 4 weeks.

Pressing is the bottleneck...if you are trying to sell time sensitive comics you need to opt for fast press at the very least if you are pressing of course.

4 books with pressing received 2/11/19 and are still in processing. Did not do fast pass. How much longer will I have to wait?

@patpat1999 I’m not too familiar with the current turnaround time for pressing but a good rule of thumb is ROUGHLY the same amount of wait for grading, which is about 2 months at the moment, so a total of 4 months, so maybe in June at the earliest.

Anyone with better information on Pressing Turnaround time feel free to correct this

You will wait FOREVER....almost. I still have two orders marked received in November 2018 that are just...sitting there. TAT's improved? I think not.

I would contact them if it’s been that long🤷‍♂️? How many books was it? Did you do screen press? Were they VSP? Could be many factors why it’s taking so long? But I would contact them. Or I’m sure a moderator will see this and be able to help. There pretty good at helping with these kind of issues

if you had them pressed then I would add 4 weeks to current turnaround time!! Also click on your invoice for most updated place in the process. The PDF invoice

My CBCS submissions have been coming back fast and furious over the last two months.

Today I got 98 books that were signed at Rhode Island Comic Con and submitted less than a month afterwards.

Next week I am getting some of my pressed and graded books back from NYCC.

He means 8 weeks. If things are moving at normal speed and you don't fast pass, both pressing and grading take 8 weeks.

No I actually meant add 4 weeks to the current 8week TAT if your screen pressing! Never claimed I was right though😉. Just going off what other people have told me. Plus I still have one book that went to screen press at same time as this order I’m getting Thursday and it still says processing 🤷‍♂️ So yeah I would add 4 weeks extra to the 8 week TAT if your screen pressing. From what I understand pressing is done in Florida and grading site is in Texas?🤔 but you can drop off at both offices

@KMiracleman Your orders are in Dallas in grading. It shouldn't be much longer.

Order recieved by CBCS 3/20, I got the 'ready to ship' email today. Pretty good considering there were a whole bunch of issues (none of which were on account of CBCS) with this particular order.

The response was the usual smoke & mirrors: only ONE of my two November 2018 orders is classified as "Grading". The other sits in "Received" until Christmas 2019....

Just received e-mail saying my last submission is ready for shipping.

CBCS received that submission on March 25. Today is May 9. So 6 weeks and 3 days for turnaround.

I can live with this.

You should be calling them or emailing them to death instead of ranting on the forums bro because ranting on here won’t help you if your not satisfied with the answer you’ve already received by a CBCS employee through the forum 🤔 all your going to do is make a lot of people who like and use CBCS 😡 upset. Remember Theres always CGC if your not happy man!! Or PGX🤪🤣

I’d imagine that both orders are in grading (@SteveRicketts did use the plural) and it’s a case that the site hasn’t updated properly to show the current stage of production
