I was going to say an 8 until I saw that back bottom corner. Maybe it can press up to an 8, 8.5? Color breaks are the worst.

I was going to say 7-7.5 in current state with the amount of creases and surface ware. A press would really help it though.

Eleventyseven.

I kid. Get a press, probably 7.5, 8.0 if you stick some Camels in the package.

Does that graded 6.0 have a big cover fold (line through ivy's leg)?

It does look like that....could be from the scan (if that is a scan) otherwise I think you're right.

May we ask - what was the raw value range you bought at?

Thanks.

@ZosoRocks Er...UMMMMM...so yeah...I overpaid based on grading estimates of thread. I thought with a press when I first looked at the book I could get it to a 9. But the more I looked at it when I got home, the more defects I noticed. That's part of why I wanted more eyes on it in this thread. My track record of buying higher dollar raw books isn't spectacular He had the book on the wall for 500, I said I was interested, we talked, ended up at $400- so I bought thinking it was around 8- 8.5.

Oh well. I got one. I'll submit, CPR and see what comes back...but yeah, I got a little bit of buyer remorse now that I look at it more.

In a way it evens out, its the same guy I bought an asm 129 from a couple weeks ago, and I'm gonna come out ahead on that one, so I didn't want to negotiate too much more...oh well.

Hey you got a key book. Plus with the movie coming you'll make up the value.
