| I would never buy a comic book about a politician. The fact that the comic industy thought it to be a good idea, is a major sign they will try to capitalize on anything to make money. All the media attention around this representative is due to her young age, attractive appearance, and outspoken voice. The media gives her a huge soap box because they like her story and appearance. Once again another media outlet which will capitalize on whatever good or bad to make more money. With all that said, I don’t hate her. I don’t support her either. I believe her heart is in the right place but she is so far from being able to cultivate her beliefs into any sort of meaningful legislation. She needs to play with the other swamp vultures first. Once she is nice and jaded, she will be in a good position to sacrifice some poor group of people to get a slice of what she wants. After all that is how the game of politics is played...... |
