Awesome, didn't know they had songs on GH. I've got GH5 and the Metallica one. Plus a bunch of packs I picked up online. May have to get the PS3 out and have a jam session.

Yeah, I have GH3, Metallica, and Smash Hits. I was playing "Blood and Thunder" on the Metallica one.

Really like this song on GH as well...

Went to Seattle for a festival and saw these guys live. They completely blew goats. The one guitar player was trying to pick up chicks in the crowd while they were playing. It was pathetic.

I'm guessing I'm a bit older than you (lol) so my favorite non-Metallica songs on there are War Ensemble by Slayer and War Inside My Head by Suicidal Tendencies.

LoL. I lived in Seattle for 5 years, from 1998 to 2003. Saw some good shows while I was there!

You may be, I started on metal really young, like 8 years old. Loved Slayer and ST...

I liked their first 2-3 albums but then I lost interest in them. Love "Davidian". My brother and I almost didn't go see them when they first started out because we thought they were a Deep Purple cover band.

lol That's awesome. I still don't know much about these guys, I like this song and that's about all I know. Remember them coming out in the mid 90's?

They were!

The top show was at your average Civic Center, but the floor was general admission with no seats anywhere. The bottom show was at an amusement park in a huge field. I have never gotten so dirty as I did at that show, thank god it didn't rain.

I remember seeing Mastodon open for Slayer in '04. They weren't booed off the stage. The Slayer crowd warmed up to them. Took a couple songs. The first band that night took the brunt of the abuse.

I went to a Metallica concert in '01 and Godsmack opened. They did a spectacular job, ended up getting 3 of their CD's. I had never heard of them before that show.

There was a Metallica show I went to in '97 and Corrosion of Conformity opened. They were absolutely wasted, even said so, and only played for 20 mins, told the crowd to f*** themselves and went off stage. Was pretty hilarious and a testament to why they never hit the really big time.

I do like this song though....

COC was a totally different band when I saw them in the mid-80s, but I like Albatross and King of the Rotten from when they turned metal. Clean My Wounds, not so much.
