@kaptainmyke your eBay listings read like a page from a coffee table book about comic books.

No i timed it because then it would end on Sunday evening, at 6pm-7pm, and before the 1st of the month (payday for most). It's a triple threat guaranteed winner when selling on ebay brahhh that week ends, everyone's paychecks are deposited and ready for the auction ends on 8/7. It's flawless.

Ok, so for those who don't know, I'll put it up in my own thread and not have solicitations all over the forum...

My website is " http://www.kaptainmyke.com ".
My primary ebay acct is "kaptainmykeinc"
But ebay sucks so I made a second account and now I can sell more but they hold my payments until people leave feedback: "thekaptainmyke"

You can save money buying directly at my site, however some items are on ebay are not on my site and vice versa. I'm trying to raise money to send off more books to CBCS and for more aquisitions of TMNT stuff. I decided to part off all or most of my collection so I can focus only on TMNT and Amazing Spider-man.

You should see the WALKING DEAD stuff I haven't even touched yet to even contemplate thinking about thinking about selling. Yeah, I said that right. 'Murica.

@kaptainmyke what's up with the ebay selling limits? Ebay won't even let me follow the first account. How is limiting sales even a thing? That's like ebay saying we are making too much money here let's tap the brakes.

Yeah I know. There's no reason for me to have limits on my primary account. I've called. I've waited on hold. They said people gave me 1 or 2 stars for shipping rates or some stupid random bs. I've always had 100% positive feedback, always shipped on time, reasonable costs.

Ebay sucks. This is my loophole.

I'm shifting more into collecting original page art recently.

Just found a really nice copy of ASM 300 for well under market price at a local flee market. Seller knew it had value, so it wasn't highway robbery. But, given the condition (at least an 8.5 to 9.2) it was definitely a nice pickup for the price. I may post a "grade check" of it soon.

@kaptainmyke - No reserve? I can tell you right now how much that will probably wind up selling for.

Probably $350 if I were to guess. It's Romita Jr.

Romita original comic pages pieces RARELY go on auction on ebay, if any. Might go more, if more than 1 person fights for it.

@kaptainmyke - $350 minimum. Problem is, on ebay there's somehwat of a price ceiling. Still $500+ tends to sit around for a while, unless it's Jack Kirby or a superstar like Jim Lee, or Byrne.

A JR Spidey would be in that category. He's a classic Spider-Man artist. JR JR not so much. It would be more based on the quality of the page. Major plus, is it's got great action spidey panels.

For me, personally, I prefer word or thought balloons on my pages. That's what makes comic book art unique and special. So, the fact that yours is a more modern page, with that stuff added on by an acetate overlay, or by computer, arguably detracts from the value. BUT, it's a great, dynamic action spidey page, so that may be a minor quibble for collectors.
