When that happens the printing number scheme starts over, regardless of the remainder of the interior. either way, shop variants seem to be treated like separate editions more than separate printings. And their value determined more by what art is on the cover (or scarcity of the print run) than what's on the interior (i.e, the story). When you take that into consideration 1st, 2nd or later printings matter very little from value/speculation standpoint. |

I wasn't sure so I checked their site and it appears they are in fact sold out of the regular version.....so I assume they sent these instead in place of and did not say anything. Since I do not collect variants I assume this free upgrade is a good thing and I should be happy based on the fact the virgin version costs double...do I have this right? |

Quote:Originally Posted by Darkseid_of_town It doesn’t sound right, I think they sent you the wrong comics. If you got your order in before they sold out online you should have gotten the copies you ordered. They would contact you otherwise. I’m sure they have extras that aren’t up for sale, especially If some got sent in for grading they sometimes relist what didn’t pass 9.8 screening. but do you like them better than the trade dress? If your plan was to flip, you definitely made out. How many sets did you buy? |

If the viagra is working you should be well over a 9.8. | xkonk private msg quote post Address this user

It’s terrible. Unless you like Salvador Dali. Much prefer the Inhyuk Lee variant. Likely rarer print run too. |

I'm sticking with Ross covers as I'll be keeping a compete run ... they are by far the best , though not as rare. The variants are all going to be flippers in near term for those into that I guess |

I’m wondering if the market didn’t finally collapse at 16. Considering the 1:25 ran on to a second print makes me wonder.

@Wraith Yup!! Moderns I mostly buy to read - not interested in variants or super ultra secret creator website store versions - just want to read the damned book!! |

I didn’t make it to lcs until 4 today and there had to have been 15 copies there still at least. With that being said I did pay my buddies mom who has a diamond membership 100 for the second print 1:25, . I can’t help myself. Ultimately it’s an awesome story and I don’t give a $&@).

Comic shops probably over ordering to get the 1:25 which are going for huge premium on cover price We all knew this time was coming |

I don't really agree...I think the Ross covers will keep selling this book even as orders are catching up to demand....by example consider the short lived Zatanna series and in specific the Hughes covers from the set. I also think we have another event coming around issue 19 that will fan the flames. When you think of epic hulk covers ...issue 14..issue 15 B cover...issue 16...he is just hitting his stride here and if he keeps going these books have nowhere to go but up. Writing and interior art are solid...as long as that continues it will only keep growing. The variant covers and all aside, I think the book still has room to grow. |

The Last one is a Comicxposure shop variant. People here will tell you to steer clear of them. Try NYCollectorscave or wait for some to show up at midtown comics in a few months.

Dell'otto one is pretty cool ... must resist . Have you all read 16 yet ? Seems this series just keeps getting better and better .. the way story and art flow between panels is perfect. |

If I could only read one series of all the ones that I buy, Immortal Hulk would be the one that I picked. I do feel the green door story ended a little quickly there at the end but still good. Also, #16 is the first 2nd printing Marvel has ever done that has store variants. |
