It's not something that just goes away, it's with you for the rest of your life. @kaptainmyke Congrats on your big score. Now here's a towel, go clean yourself up. |

@Cmonman That's a one of a kind item being sold by Kevin Eastman himself (his eBay account) so when the final bid comes in, that's what it went for.

@DarthLego is right. With items like this from the creators themselves there is no market or competing pricepoint to go on. I buy one-off or one-of-a-kind items from Kevin and Peter all the time, and consistently I create the market price. Sometimes, I admittedly bid extremely high to create a market wedge so I can control the price when I am ready to sell. This just isn't Turtles I'm talking about either. |

I think it will go for $585-$650. It's a 3 day auction that ends on a Wednesday at 7am for west coast people. They didn't think out the times right for maximum bidders imo |

I don't. I am usually bidding the last second personally because I have the time on my hands. But at 7:30 AM frankly I am asleep I'm on the West Coast and we wake up late.

Ok - I see a comic that I'm looking for to finish a run. Seller has it listed at $50 buy it now or best offer. It's a nice copy, so I figure I'd shoot him an offer. I offer him $40. He countered with $49. Really??? A whole whopping dollar is what you're willing to go down? Why bother with the Best Offer option??? SMH

I once made a decent offer on Comic Connect for a book I wanted. The seller responded with a price higher than he was initially asking. I laughed and moved on. Plenty sellers will only drop the price one dollar when you make them an offer. Happens to me quite often. |

@Jesse_O Ugh, I hate that! It's like, why even bother with the Best Offer option if you're basically looking to get the BIN price? I usually aim to get 15%-20% off the BIN price when I use Best Offers. When the seller's just screwing around like that, I usually just decline and look elsewhere. If anything, you should counter with $39 |

lol, once I think I flatout offended a seller with my initial lowball offer that instead of countering he just banned me from his listings
