It was a one trick pony show but always hilarious. GAC private msg quote post Address this user

With all the characters they have, they opt to go with these creatures?
That's totally baffling.

Well oddly enough that scene was my most favorite part of the film.

You do know that the new guy brings the donuts, right? DWeeB1967 private msg quote post Address this user
Well, I do like the fact that they are thinking about a "horror-tinged script." Personally, I doubt this "Trench" thing ever gets made. However, the fact that they are thinking horror gives me hope that we will see a Spectre movie at some point.

Weird, but I’m all for trying something new. There’s a lot of corners of the comic book universes to explore. We don’t need to stick with just the big characters and origin stories that build up to big fights.

I'm not a fan or scenes with dark CGI. I assume it's faster to render the CGI wire frames with a reduced color palette, but I want to see what I'm looking at. I found the scene to be boring. It was too much like other movies that have a swarm of characters attacking the protagonist.

To each their own. I don’t feel like I had a hard time seeing the creatures, and it was a dark stormy setting. To me this gave it a very unique vibe in the context of the film, which was filled with hand to hand combat action scenes in scenic locations.
I actually think Jason Momoa zipping around the ocean in his designer blue jeans that never seem to look wet was a more ridiculous aspect of the film then the creatures in the film. But then again I might just be a little bias as I am a big fan of creatures and not much a fan of chafing.

Yay! I wasn't the only one observing the water special effect overlaid onto things that showed no appearance of being wet.
