It seems that Kevin Feige and crew are on the hunt for a new Wolverine, someone to replace Hugh Jackman under Disney once the Fox merger is fully realized. There's been plenty of talk on various actors but I want to hear who you would pick? I know someone physically the same height as comics Wolverine would be great but I don't think it's an obstacle. With CGI, forced perspective and just not addressing it (as with Hugh) it shouldn't be a deciding factor. Who would you cast for the role? My picks are below |

I don't like any of those picks, sorry. You might as well get me to play Wolverine with that list. My picks are Scott Eastwood and Justin Theroux. Maybe Tom Hardy but he's becoming the "go to" actor now and we don't want to see another Human Torch / Cap sitch either. |

They've already said they want to get someone on the younger side who can handle the physical work that you'd have to put in. That eliminates, or caps at one or two movies, a lot of people on your list. You'd only have Harrington or Efron left, ignoring Dafne (hard to say how well a child actor progresses, and she wouldn't be Logan anyway). Hugh Jackman was such a good Wolverine because he can actually act. You get the anger and rage but also the compassion and conflict between the two. Jackman conveys it with his face. That double-eliminates a lot of people on your list, and certainly Efron. I haven't seen Harrington in enough to say if he's got it. I haven't seen Eastwood in much either but I don't get the sense he would do a great job. Theroux is nearly 50. I don't think they'll get someone especially well-known, or at least not from action movies. I think they'll do a quiet search and get someone they think can act and then send him to the gym. |

Benicio del Toro would be good but probably too old. What about the Harry Potter kid? Youthink he can get in touch with his inner beast? lol. actually I can't think of anyone that could fill the shoes of wolverine at this point. |

Zack efron can actually act and would get better with the role like Jackman did. Kit Harrington would also be a good choice. Would need to beef up a bit and keen to show more emotion. Scott Eastwood would make a good choice. Not strong on the emotional acting part though. Most others are just to old for the kind of run Marvel wants. |

It's a shame they wasted Huge in so many of those mediocre X-Men movies. He is and always will be Wolverine (even with all the singing and dancing on Broadway). | ||
