| Anyone here order comics from Things from Another World? I ordered three comics from their pre-order service, and this is what they shipped them in, a flimsy cardboard mailer. I had to also pay extra for the backing boards. They didn't even bundle the issues together so that they didn't slide inside the package. Two of the corners of the mailer were bent, one of the comics was damaged, clearly due to it shifting inside the mailer and into one of the corners of the mailer that is bent. Every other place online I've ordered from (pre-order) ships comics in gemini mailers if I order 3 or less. Those things are never the problem. Is this their standard way of shipping? Not ordering from them again, for sure. Not to mention they changed the photo of the comic I ordered on their website such that I didn't get the variant cover I wanted...I ordered three copies of the same issue to. Not sure that was their fault (may have gotten bum info from diamond). May inquire about restitution. Not sure how much they're willing to admit was their error.    [img] |

 I had no way of knowing that 9.8 graded copies signed by Adam Hughes weren't what you were looking for.

| If you order enough books TFAW will send them in a sturdy box. Unfortunately they use flimsy mailers for smaller orders. I had three books sent this way and damaged. When I complained I got a refund and they even sent me an additional copy of each book. If I remember correctly one of the three replacements (probably in the middle) was in decent shape. |

| Wow... That would really piss me off... I'd get a refund & tell them they lost a customer due to their cheap, shipping methods. Then I would tell them that I am also going to let other comic book collectors know the kind of service they provide. |

| I value my time too much. The are clearly negligent and trying to gamble that it'll arrive in an acceptable condition. I would never buy from them if they feel that packaging is adequate. | ||

| Order 7-10 or more with them and they will ship in a box with adequate protection (much better than Midtown). Order less than 7 or so and they will ship as described by OP. | ||

| I ordered a SDCC Comics #2 from them and it was very well packed, this is my only recent experience with them. But you’re not the first to have this issue. They should treat all orders equally. This may keep me from being a returning customer. | ||
