I just found an X-Men #49 and I would like to make this my first cleaned, pressed and slabbed book. Can anyone tell me the pricing on cleaning and pressing? I see the grading/slab price is around $18. I'm reading that right I hope. First time doing this.

I think you are looking at $27 to $30 for grading (Consumer or Expanded Tier) and I believe $25 for pressing/cleaning. Those prices are for normal turnaround times, not fast-pass. Then add in around another $25 for return shipping for 1 book.

Shipping costs depend on the number of comics and the estimated value of those comics. To get the best value per book, try to send in books in multiples of five. I am getting an order of 15 Moderns back this week, no pressing or fast pass. My total cost per comic, including shipping to CBCS, grading, and return shipping, comes out to be less than $24 each.

If the viagra is working you should be well over a 9.8. xkonk private msg quote post Address this user

Yep. I have three orders in now; shipping for two with a fair amount of insurance is $31, shipping for four less valuable books is $28, and shipping for ten kind of mixed books is $41.

Didn't know pressing and cleaning was that much. So to get an older X-Men comic graded/pressed by itself you are looking at $80ish. That seems like a lot.
