| when I was a kid the re-runs on TV were of the all blue Lone Ranger...I remember when I first saw some of the older Lone Ranger comics with the red shirt version and though - wow!! I like that so much more!! | ||

| Isn’t it crazy that you can buy 50-80 year old books for less than the cost of this month’s new comics? I recently bought two lots of funny animal comics on eBay, all from the 40s, 50s and 60s. The first lot was about $2.50 each, including shipping and the second was $1.67 each, shipped. And these were mainly collectible copies in the vg/vg+ range. I stopped buying new comics in 1992 to focus on collecting backwards instead of forwards and I have never regretted it for a minute! | ||
